Electronic Lab notebooks allow you to manage your lab protocols, inventory systems, and data in one system. The availability of an institutional ELN is specific to the RI, but all institutes emphasize FAIR data capture.
Library recommendation: For researchers at Empa and PSI, we recommend using OpenBIS and SciLog, respectively. If no institutional ELN is available, Lib4Ri recommends the use of an OpenBIS instance or the use of Git-based notebooks, where the use of OpenBIS is not feasible.
