Bobby Neuhold joined the group «InfoServices» on April 16. Besides the day-to-day work for the user services in Dübendorf, his primary duty is the development of user trainings at all library locations. We see this strengthening of the library team as a logical step on the road to improving existing and implementing new information services for members of the research institutes.
Bobby Neuhold holds a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Basel and specialized in the field of chemical/instrumental reaction and process analysis, including kinetics, thermodynamics, and software development. As a lecturer at the University of Newcastle, Australia, he gained valuable experience in scientific information retrieval using various databases. Until recently, Bobby has been working as a scientific coordinator «Research and Corporate Relations» for the Executive Board of the ETH.
