After four months of major renovations, Lib4RI WSL Birmensdorf was reopened yesterday. Among other things, the new space offers attractive working spaces, booths for calls, a coffee machine and lockers.

The top floor of the General Purpose Building at WSL Birmensdorf was due for a revamp that fits modern requirements: parts of the former library space were transformed into WSL co-working spaces. Where you could previously find book shelves, WSL has now installed attractive working spaces for employees, surrounded by plants and sound-absorbing panels. The well lit desks offer ample space both for co-working, as well as tasks that require concentration. And if you need to hop on a call, there are bookable soundproof booths that you can use as well. Furthermore, there are now lockers and a coffee bar, providing convenience and comfort also for longer visits.

The books that were previously in the library have been moved to the basement and can still be borrowed. And, of course, our services remain. We are happy to help you with any questions that you have at the library desk, organise access to information for you, or help you with your questions around the publication process.
