New Agreement with Taylor & Francis for 2024-2027

Lib4RI

A new national license agreement has been reached with Taylor & Francis, ensuring continued access to their journal portfolio and enabling Open Access (OA) publishing for researchers affiliated with the 4RIs.

Researchers will continue to have access to more than 2'000 titles from Taylor & Francis in the Science & Technology, Social Sciences & Humanities, and Pharmaceutical Science & Toxicology collections. These collections cover all relevant journals in the subject fields of the 4RIs.

With the reached agreement the OA publishing workflow is once again open, allowing researchers to publish their work without any associated costs (no APCs). Two additional Gold OA portfolios, Dove Press and F1000, have been included, expanding the range of available publishing options. Furthermore, Tier 2 journals are now eligible for OA publishing, opening up even more publishing opportunities beyond the previous agreement. This new agreement not only includes additional journals eligible for publishing but also provides sufficient quota to cover the yearly publication output in Switzerland.
