The 'Lib4RI-Update' Has Gone Digital!

InfoServices Team

Bye-bye printed Lib4RI-Update! After 16 issues of the printed version, you will get all future Updates by e-mail. An electronic newsletter allows us to reach a wider audience and helps to save paper.

Do you have technical difficulties receiving or displaying our newsletter or its contents? Is there a topic you would like us to cover in a future issue of the Lib4RI-Update? Do you agree or disagree with the contents of the newsletter? Our newsletter is work in progress and is constantly evolving. Whether praise or criticism, do not hesitate to contact us by e-mail (@email) – your feedback is very welcome!

Why an E-mail Newsletter?

An e-mail newsletter gives us the flexibility to communicate recent developments in the library landscape much faster compared to a distributed printed document. We plan to do this three to four times a year. Digital copies of all past and future Updates can still be downloaded from our archive at lib4ri.ch.

Employees at one of the four research institutes within the ETH domain will receive the newsletter without any action needed (notify us, if this is not the case). However, you do not have to be an employee at one of those institutes to receive the library newsletter. Anyone can subscribe to the mailing list via this form. Should you decide against our newsletter one day, you can of course unsubscribe at any time. You can do this by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each newsletter.

A Few Lines on Your Privacy

For the electronic dispatch of our newsletter we rely on the services of mailXpert. They will store data, i.e. your e-mail address and usage statistics, on the mailXpert servers in Switzerland (read more). Additionally, we use all functionalities of mailXpert to pseudonymize personal data. Read more in our Newsletter Privacy Policy.
