Electronic Resources: changes in 2024

Lib4RI

We are delighted to announce the new library subscriptions and Read & Publish agreements for the year 2024. As in previous years, our decision-making process was guided by an extensive data analysis to ensure we provide access to the most essential resources. However, due to budget constraints impacting the four research institutes, we had to raise the bar higher than before, resulting in more cancellations than usual. Are you missing access to a specific electronic resource? Make sure to suggest it to us!

Read and Publish Deals

As previously announced, corresponding authors affiliated with Eawag, Empa, PSI and WSL have the opportunity to publish their research Open Access with Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) and Cambridge University (CUP) at no additional cost from January 2024. For more information regarding the eligible journals, authors, workflows and other details, please visit our dedicated OA agreements webpage

Negotiations with Elsevier and Taylor & Francis are still ongoing. For more detailed information on the current status please refer to our news posted in early December.
