Starting September 2022, researchers at Eawag, Empa, PSI, & WSL can publish their papers without charge in journals by Open Access publisher Copernicus Publications. Lib4RI has a new agreement with Copernicus to pay article processing charges (APCs) if the corresponding author is affiliated with one of the research institutes of the ETH domain.
This agreement is valid for any (first) submission after 1 September 2022. To be eligible for funding, corresponding authors need to clearly state Eawag, Empa, PSI, or WSL as their affiliation in the article submissions form as well as in the paper itself. Papers resulting from SNSF-funded research are not eligible for funding because SNSF already covers these costs (more info). Upon acceptance of the article, the invoice will automatically be sent to the library.
