Since the first of January, we offer the Lib4RI Standards Portal as a central starting point for searching for and finding standards and technical guidelines. The Lib4RI Standards Portal includes bibliographic information for more than 1.5 million standards and technical guidelines. This does away with the previous, sometimes tedious search across several sources and databases.
The new Lib4RI Standards Portal includes the complete Perinorm database: bibliographic information about Swiss standards (SN), international standards (EN, IEC, ISO, ITU), as well as the most important national standards and technical guidelines in Europe, the US, Australia, and Japan (ANSI, BS, DIN, NF etc.). In addition to the bibliographic data, the new standards portal offers the full text of a growing number of standards; these are currently:
If the full text of a standard is unavailable in the standards portal, the link resolver «Get it at Lib4RI» offers a convenient way to order the document via our «Document Delivery Service». Until now the full text of certain standards have not been available for all users of the library Lib4RI. With the launch of the new portal, we harmonized access to full-text standards among the 4 research institutes and expanded our collection. Access to the Lib4RI Standards Portal is restricted to the network of Eawag, Empa, PSI, and WSL.
In the search results the PDF icon indicates standards with attached full texts. The link resolver button «Get it at Lib4RI» leads you to the ordering form for standards («Document Delivery Service») or to the full text of ASTM standards on the society’s website, respectively.
