Behind the bookshelves: New round starting in October

Our Coffee Lecture Series "Behind the bookshelves" is entering the second round. This year's main theme: There's a librarian for that. The opening session on 06 October gives a brief overview on publisher AI policies.

Sometimes you are confronted with organisational, strategic or technical questions that go beyond your field of research. To which degree can AI be used in writing? Will the Article Processing Costs (APC) for your Open Access publication be covered? And how is research output measured and assessed?

These questions have one thing in common: there's a librarian for that!

Join in, every first Tuesday of the month, 13:30 - 14:00:

• 06 October: Publisher AI policies - what can and can't be done
• 03 November: Quickly find your Open Access publishing options with the Lib4RI Search Tool
• 01 December: Paper mills - a librarian's perspective
• 02 February: Open Tools, Open Data: empowering research data with FOSS
• 02 March: Measuring sciences - indices and alternatives
• 06 April: Standards at your fingertips

We are excited to see you there!
