10 Years Lib4RI – The Open Access Godfather (2020)

We established a Gold Open Access fund for Eawag, Empa, PSI and WSL, supporting researchers to pay APCs.

In 2020, we also closed our first read & publish deals. Another important milestone was the launch of swisscovery, the new nationwide library system and the replacement of NEBIS. And finally, we expanded the workflow of DORA to harvest publications from external databases and implemented download statistics.

Ok, there was also the corona crisis – and we worked mostly from home – but therefore we developed a webinar miniseries and the first Lib4RI screencasts.
