After a brief interruption earlier this year, Lib4RI is once again offering its plagiarism check service to members of the four research institutes (4RIs).
Since 2020, Lib4RI has offered a plagiarism check service for members of the 4RIs. Due to changes to the previous software, we had to find a new solution. We are now able to offer plagiarism checks again via Turnitin Similarity.
We perform these tests following strict guidelines that have been approved by the 4RIs to ensure the ethical and responsible use of this service. We also want to highlight again that these tools only identify similarity between documents, and even a high similarity score does not necessarily indicate plagiarism. This decision remains with the clients requesting this service and requires careful comparison of their manuscript with the sources highlighted as similar.
