Members of Lib4RI, Eawag and Empa participated in this year's SOLA-Staffette relay race. On Saturday, 16 May, the team with starting number 230 successfully completed the relay!
The SOLA-Staffette, organised by the Academic Sports Association Zurich, is a 113km, 14-person relay race around Zürich. Even with a total of 2'600 meters of elevation gain, 1'103 teams participated with more than 15'000 total runners in the 51st Annual SOLA - making it the largest university sports event in Switzerland. With legs ranging from flat and fast to steep and demanding, every member of the team brought their best effort on the day. It was a fantastic day of teamwork, camaraderie, and pushing personal limits across some of Zürich's most scenic routes. All in all, the team's combined running time was 10 hours and 43 minutes, with a final finishing place of 791. Congratulations to the whole team!
