Lib4RI Training Series: Searching & Managing Scientific Information

It is almost spring and again time for our biannual introductory course for PhD students and other affiliates of the 4 federal research institutes. The course is split into three separate and individually bookable modules. In March 2015, sessions will be offered, if possible, at most major research sites.

In module 1, «Searching Scientific Information», you become skilled in finding relevant scientific information using suitable tools offered by Lib4RI.

In module 2, «The Publication Process», you get to know the principles of the publication process incl. Open Access, learn how to deal with copyright questions and become acquainted with typical measures for scientific research evaluation.

In module 3, «Literature Management», you get introduced to scientific literature management. Individual sessions are offered for Endnote (MS Word) and new also for Zotero / JabRef (LaTeX).

Sessions are open to all members of the 4 research institutes, PhD students and other new researchers are particularly invited. More details incl. dates, venues and online registration can be found here.
