Journal Citation Reports 2025 released

Clarivate has released their annual Journal Citation Report, covering more than 22'000 journals. This year's release also marks the 50th anniversary of the report.

First released in 1975, the report gives detail statistical information on scientific journals, such as Journal Impact Factor (JIF). Such reports can support an informed decision on the most appropriate and impactful journal to publish your work in.

For 2025, the handling of retractions has been adapted. Citations to and from retracted articles will no longer contribute towards the Journal Impact Factor.
